MEET JAMES R. JENNINGS, CPA
Jim Jennings hails from Michigan, earning his B.A. at MSU in 1984 and starting his career in 1985 as a junior loan underwriter with Manufacturers Hanover. He left in 1986 to pursue a career in accounting both in private industry and public accounting.
Jim is a practicing CPA since 1990. He earned his Master of Taxation degree in 1993 at Georgia State University. As a Certified Public Accountant, Jim worked with a renowned tax consultant for troubled or bankrupt companies from 1994 to 1997.
Since 1997, Jim also is affiliated with Finley, Colmer & Company, a boutique restructuring and reorganization consulting firm for troubled companies, in and out of bankruptcy.

As a former Partner at EY for nearly 3 decades, Bob Sharpenberg brings a wealth of experience and expertise in global tax with him to Jennings Advisors.
At EY Bob's primary focus was international tax preparation and compliance.
For the past 20 years, Bob has run his own practices, where he specializes in global employment tax and compensation issues for:

A 2001 graduate of Washington & Lee University (BBA Accounting), Marc has worked extensively for Chapter 7 Trustees throughout his career.

He has supported Debtors, Counsel, and Trustees in numerous cases involving middle market companies in retail, financial, and manufacturing industries.
Marc also has extensive experience in accounting systems and has worked in various capacities in that regard.
A member of the team since, 2011, Erika works with various foreign and domestic clients, and assists Jennings Advisors consulting efforts in areas of financial administration. Her professional background is in hotel management and administration where she worked for over 14 years, including Orient Express in Latin America.
In addition to English, Erika is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese. She works with clients in Latin America, India, and China.
Erika earned a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management from Instituto Superior Columbia and a Language degree in English from The Language Institute of the Catholic University of Lima Peru.
